Day 01. TEHRAN
Arrive in Tehran. Morning to rest in the hotel. Afternoon visit to the Archaeological section of the National Museum, and the Glass and Ceramics Museum. Overnight in Tehran.

Full day city tour of Tehran to include the Carpet Museum, Golestan Palace, lunch at a local restaurant, and the Crown Jewels Museum. Evening flight to Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.

Day 03. SHIRAZ
Full day city tour to explore the main highlights of the city of Shiraz to includes the Eram Gardens, the Citadel of Karim Khan Zand, the Pars Museum, the Vakil Mosque, lunch at a local restaurant, the Nasir ol-Mulk Mosque, the Naranjestan Museum, the tombs of Sa’di and Hafez, and the Vakil Bazaar. Overnight in Shiraz.

Day 04. Excursion to PERSEPOLIS and PASARGADAE
Full day excursion including Persepolis, Naqsh-i Rostam, Naqsh-i Rajab, lunch at a local restaurant, and Pasargadae. Overnight in Shiraz.

Driving to Kerman, we stop en route to see the ruins of Sarvestan Palace, and then continue along the edge of the magical landscape of the Sand Desert. We have a picnic lunch at Neiriz and visit its 10th Century Jami‘ Mosque. Overnight in Kerman.

Day 06. Excursion to RAYEN and MAHAN
Full day excursion to the citadel of Rayen, stop at Mahan to have lunch at the Shazdeh Paradise Garden, and visit the 15th Century Shrine of Shah Nematollah Vali. Overnight in Kerman.

Morning city tour of Kerman to see the city’s main monuments. These include the 3rd Century fortress, the Ice House, Jabbalieh, the 14th Century Jami‘ Mosque, the Old Bazaar, and the 17th Century Ganj Ali Khan Complex. We eat lunch at a local restaurant before skirting the central Iranian desert, following the ancient caravan route to Yazd, and passing some of the great royal caravanserais along the way. Overnight in Yazd.

Day 08. YAZD
Full day city tour of the city of Yazd includes the 14th Century Jami‘ Mosque, the shrines of Seyyed Rokneddin and Davazdah Imam, the Prison of Alexander, lunch at a local restaurant, the Water Museum, Tekkeh of Amir Chaqmaq, the Dawlatabad Gardens, the modern Zoroastrian Fire Temple, and the Towers of Silence. Overnight in Yazd.

Driving to Isfahan, we stop en route in Maybod to see its mud brick citadel, urban caravanserai, and Ice House. We stop in Nain at Mohammadiye to see the traditional wool-weaving, then to lunch at the Nain Tourist Inn. We visit the 10th Century Jami‘ Mosque and the Ethnological Museum before driving on to Isfahan. Overnight in Isfahan.

Full day city tour to explore the monumental capital of Safavid Persia. We have the opportunity to visit most of the main attractions of Isfahan, including the palace pavilions of Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sutun, the Shahrestan Bridge, the Khaju Bridge, Sio-Se Pol, lunch at a local restaurant, and the monuments surrounding the vast Naqsh-i Jahan Square. These monuments include the Ali Qapu Pavilion, the Shaikh Lutfollah Mosque, the Abbasi Mosque, and the monumental entrance to Qayssarieh Bazaar. Overnight in Isfahan.

Half day city tour of Isfahan to see the great 12th Century Jami‘ Mosque of Isfahan, then on to the Armenian Quarter to visit Vank Cathedral. We eat lunch at a local restaurant, and enjoy the rest of the day at Naqsh-i Jahan Square for shopping and dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Isfahan.

Morning at leisure. Afternoon flight to Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.

Day 13. TEHRAN
Return flight to home.

NOTE: You will probably have to leave your home country on the previous day to arrive in the early morning on the first day. If flight arrives earlier or later than the rest of the group, private transfers are $75 per transfer. Extra nights at the hotel in Tehran for early arrival or late departure are $110 per person sharing a double room and $165 for a single room.
